- How to drink it
- Either
Spice-forward and sweet, with cedar and a herbal depth from the aged Sumatra. Reads like the Sumatra with the edges rounded off.
Same rules as any dark roast: cooler water, shorter contact, coarser grind, lighter ratio. The spice holds up well against milk and against ice.

- Water temperature
- 195-200F.
- Time
- Shorter contact.
- Grind
- One step coarser than the Dogspeed numbers.
- Dose and ratio
- 1:17 to 1:18.
How to drink it. Good both ways. Black the cedar and spice are clearer; with milk it turns into the holiday-morning cup it was designed to be. A little sugar leans it further that way and suits it.
Where to buy: Starbucks, seasonally
