Not legal advice. This says what the site actually does, in plain words, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you need it to be more than an honest description, have somebody qualified read it first.

Reading

Open to anybody, no account needed. An account lets you rate recipes, mark what you have made, and leave comments. You must be at least 13 to have one.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself: what happens under your account is your responsibility. Pick a username that is not somebody else's name and does not pretend to be me or to be the site.

What you write

Your comments stay yours. Posting one gives permission to show it here, and nothing more. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, or that you do not have the right to post. A comment can be hidden or removed, and an account that keeps producing them can be suspended. You can delete your own comments at any time.

What is here

The recipes, the photographs, the drawings and the writing are mine. Cook from them, print them, tape them inside a cupboard door, send one to a friend. Do not republish them as your own or feed them wholesale into somebody else's site. If you want to quote one, quote it and link back.

Cooking is cooking

These are recipes that work for me, written as carefully as I can manage. They are not a food safety course. Temperatures and times for meat, for preserving and for anything held warm are given in good faith. Check them against a source you trust if you are cooking for somebody vulnerable, and use a thermometer. What happens in your kitchen is yours.

Allergies

Labels like "gluten-free" describe the recipe as written, with the ingredients I used. Brands change, kitchens share equipment, and a label is not a guarantee. If it matters medically, read the packets yourself.

Links to other sites are not endorsements of everything on them, and some of them pay a commission. Every one of those is marked where it appears, and explained here.

The email list

Opt-in only, confirmed by email before anything is sent. Your address is never sold or shared. Every message has a one-click unsubscribe, and it works.

Nothing is promised to be up

This is one person's recipe site. It may be down, a recipe may change, and something you liked may be rewritten. Nothing here is a service you are paying for, and it is not warranted to be anything in particular.
