Mountain-grown Sonoma Zinfandel. Hotter, darker and more structured than a valley Zin.

How it tastes
Blackberry, black pepper and clove, with a smoky, almost tarry edge.
Full-bodied and dry, with firm tannin and a warm finish. Not a shy wine.
How to serve it
Mountain fruit and firm tannin, unlike a valley Zin. It wants air.
Mountain Zin with more structure than most, but ready.
Pour it with
- St. Louis Ribs (About 3 Hours) Pepper and smoke against the glaze
- Texas-Style Boneless Beef Ribs (Hot & Fast) Big wine, hot-and-fast beef
- Pork Belly Burnt Ends (Jalapeno Jelly & Miso) Stands up to the sweetness
