A to Z Chardonnay
Oregon Chardonnay with the oak dialed down. Crisp enough for fried food, cheap enough for a Tuesday.
- How to decant
- Pour and let it open in the glass
- Drink
- Drink now
How it tastes
Green apple and lemon, a little pear, and a light creaminess rather than butter.
Light to medium bodied, dry, and mouth-watering. Nothing heavy about it.
How to serve it
Whites don't need it. Cold from the fridge, and it opens as it warms in the glass.
Unoaked whites are for this year, not next.
Pour it with
- Sous Vide Fried Chicken (Gluten-Free Dredge) The acid cuts the fried coating
- Jalapeno-Pickle Fried Chicken Bites with Soy Garlic Honey Sauce Same job, smaller bites
- Southern Baked Mac and Cheese Cuts through the cheese
